USA FIBER Completes Ashburn Ring Conduit System
ASHBURN, Va., May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- USA FIBER, a company that engineers, builds and operates mission critical dark fiber networks for clients, today announced the completion of the Ashburn Ring conduit system, a 7.2 mile network in the heart of Ashburn's data center community. The multi-conduit system was delivered by the USA FIBER engineering and construction team in a total of 138 days, of which only 75 days were active with construction, not working 63 due to weekends, holidays and weather. The platform will be used to provide dark fiber and conduit services to select customers, and anchor as the key destination of USA FIBER's newest cable system, The Ashburn Express, which is currently under construction directly connecting Ashburn to Baltimore.USA FIBER has built a strategic core practice focused on engineering, building and managing mission critical fiber infrastructure. Employing the latest technologies, best practices and training, the USA FIBER construction team, led by Chris Pancione, Vice President of Fiber Construction, builds the highest quality systems on-time and on budget.
Members of USA FIBER team consist of outside plant engineers, project managers and construction experts, providing resources capable of dissecting complex fiber requirements, managing contract expectations, fulfilling safety and quality program requirements, and providing subject matter expertise in all areas of outside plant engineering, construction and maintenance.
